Parvati Hospital owes its inception to the vision of our founder, Honorable Padma Shri Dr. Devinder Singh Rana, who aimed to bring quality healthcare to underserved communities. From its humble beginnings as the first institute in Himachal Pradesh to provide dialysis facility to the people, Parvati Hospital has now grown into a fully equipped hospital offering a range of medical services across various specialties. Despite its growth, the hospital’s mission remains unchanged, which is to provide quality healthcare to underserved communities in their own surroundings, regardless of their location or financial situation.

Parvati Hospital is accredited by the Himachal Pradesh Government and the ECHS, and our treatment facilities are available under Ayushman Himcare. We are also affiliated with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, providing our patients access to advanced medical technologies and specialized expertise. Honourable Dr. Devinder Singh Rana is a highly skilled nephrologist and Chairman of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi. Known for his expertise in renal transplant procedures, he has dedicated his career to improving healthcare for people in need.Born in Dasmal, Hamirpur in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, Dr. Rana earned his medical degree from the Indira Gandhi Medical College in Shimla. He completed his advanced training in clinical nephrology at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh.
Dr. Rana’s contributions to medicine have been recognized both nationally and internationally. He is an international scholar of the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. In addition to his work at the hospital, Dr. Rana founded the Parvati Education and Health Society, in his native village of Dasmal, providing essential medical care to rural communities in need.
For his exceptional contributions to the field of medicine, Dr. Rana was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour by the Government of India, in 2009. He is the first resident of Himachal Pradesh to receive this prestigious award.
